Morocco is a member of the United Nations since 1956, and the League of Arab States since 1958, and the International Committee of the Olympic Games since 1959, the Organization of the Islamic Conference since 1969, and the International Organization of la Francophonie and since 1981, the Maghreb Union since 1989, and the Mediterranean dialog since 1995, and the Group of Seventy-seven since 2003, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) as an ally of the President of the Outside since 2004, then the Union for the Mediterranean 2008.

Do Morocco in the far north of the West Africa, Morocco and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea in the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, (situated midway between the Strait of Gibraltar), is bounded by east Algeria and South Mauritania.
